Default Anybody "fitted the best, fitted Everest"?

Just getting round to sorting out some wooden sash windows, and wondered if anyone had used Everest before?

Product looks OK, but I know nowt about windows.

    Everest do timber windows....

Hardwood or softwood? In fact do the right thing and get your local craftsman to make you some ...

Unless some cheeky ****** gives decent input, within the next week I'll know all there is to know on these too

Ade - yes they do. Softwood impregnated with paint apparently. 35yr guarantee on the wood frames, 8yrs on the paint, 12yrs on the glass I'm told.

As for local craftsmen, if they didn't all think they were Michelangelo and their work worth about as much as his roof paintings, I'd be happy to.

My house is fitted with Everest windows with Hardwood surrounds and they are excellent.

I bought the house with it fitted already so I don't know if I would go that route personally but I am glad the previous owners fitted them - along with the Jacuzzi, sports and family rooms that is.
