Friend wants one. Interested to hear from people who have actually sold theirs or enquired. I've heard the usual BS from dealers who say list when it comes to buying but 25k over when it comes to selling.

Still a premium if you want one now, Ferrari have produced 3000 458's in 2010, roughly half of their production, so volumes similar to 430 but will take time to filter into all markets, and as some have said, Ferrari is keeping production volumes as before but spreading to new markets, so density per market will decrease keeping rarity higher, and of course that means prices. IMHO you will still have another 6 months min of premiums in UK mkt. There are not many on the market, and still a number of those are LHD.

That's a premium of circa 23,500 based on that spec. Can't understand why someone would spec additional cost grey seatbelts in an interior that is crema and black

Heated seats Very rarely do you see heated seats in a Ferrari, shame.

You get lucky sometimes, although they would be even better in a spider

My experience is for a reasonably spec'd car circa 200k, a dealer will give a 15k premium and offer out at 25k over list. I didn't sell. Current delivery for new orders is two years plus as UK allocation for 2011 and 2012 has supposedly been cut. I think premiums on UK delivered RHD cars will be there for a while and given the out of this world performance of the car if you have got the money it's worth paying more to enjoy now (assuming you can actually find a car to buy)

Dirty hands?? Slightly strange that one !

Out of interest Iain, what are the 'must have' options on the 458. Shields has become a must on all F cars, I also think the sports seats you have make a huge difference to the look and feel of the car. Carbon wheel with Led's looks like akey one too.

Maybe they were feeling nostalgic and they wanted a piece of their old Granada Scorpio in there!

Well my friend was expecting a q1 delivery in 2011 but has now been put back to q4.

If anyone wants to sell in q1/2 then please let me know as he will pay overs.

Btw the majority of people who got 458s this year sold them.
