    Default 430 rear bumper choices

    Hi all.

I am after a quick bit of advice, I have a 430 coupe and I have seen the rear bumper with the top section done in carbon fibre.

Was this a spider only option from the factory? Or could it be ordered on a coupe?

Does anyone have pictures of a rossa corsa coupe with this bumper fitted?

    Thanks

    Neil

Coupe or Spider, factory option, 'Challenge Style rear segment'. 1,600 option in 2008 IIRC

Hi Neil, it was an option on both coupe and spider, they do look better than standard bumpers,we have changed two for customers but are VERY VERY expensive to replace in excess of 4000 new

Agree it looks better, makes car look lower and wider and ties in with the black roof on a spider.

Fortunately mine was specced with it from new but I'm not sure I would of paid a premium for it and certainly not 4000

Thanks for all your help, I did not know what it was called so my searches were bringing up the carbon rear diffuser, not the top carbon bit.

I found a perfect picture that sums this up on Google images now from ferrarilife forum.

I can only find pictures of this grill with the challenger alloys though, would it look odd if I kept the standard wheels with the challenger grill?

Its expensive as an option as its carbon fibre grill and seperate therefore different bumper.

Mine has it with standard wheels and I can't see what difference any wheel would make to the look of it.

Mine looks great on standard wheels but you could put some naff 16" wheels on and the view from the rear isn't affected
