Club Scuderia recently confirmed we are once again supporting and donating to this excellent fund raising event. During recent liaisons with the organisers, they have ask if there are any willing volunteers to help promote the event. Here's their request:

For the Tadworth event, we promote it at various other events like Goodwood Breakfat and Horsham Italian Day etc. Would you be able to put a post up at some point asking if there are owners who'd like to help promote The Supercar Event (Dads Day Out) at some of these with their car?

We know lots of you love this event so hopefully some can help out here too

You can PM me and I will forward on or you can email RMD direct if you have his details (I can provide if you PM me)

When we went to book the Holiday Inn on the Saturday night it was full. So Bruce, myself and a couple of volunteers are booked into this hotel for a room and a meal. All are welcome to join us:

If anyone wants to go to supercar Sunday this weekend we are looking for a car to display to promote the SuperCar event. We have a reserved space in the paddock but need a car as all of us are unable to make it. There will be staff from the trust there to hand out leaflets etc. Let me know if anyone can make it.

Was great of Chris to bring along his LaFerrari, but lets be fair here its far from the first LaF in UK and Chris must know that- his car is 202318.
The one that has been sitting at Macaris for the last month is 201810.

So why did he keep saying to everyone that his was the first?

Anyway at least its cleared one thing up with Ferrari - if you ever get given a special car like an Aperta, feel free to flip it straight on as Ferrari will still happily give you their next supercar

Would just like to add huge thanks and congratulations to Richard, Pete, Bachi and Mark for a brilliant event. Thanks also to Ian and his team of marshals, Rebecca (Scary paddock control lady) and her husband who I nearly ran over more than once and to nearly all the other drivers who's driving standards were exemplary

Surpisingly less CS members there this year and equally surprising a significant number of tipos not present, no 328, 348, 550, 575, 512TR/M, 16M, F40, F50, Enzo, 288GTO......guess they're all too valuable

Thanks for the usual "suspects" who supported us once again on this every expanding event. We are truly overwhelmed with the support and also CS donation to the Trust.

Great to have the support from Chris Evans too. Tomorrow we will update you with the total

x2 - thanks to Pete, Bungle, Bachi, Mark - great Event

Very surprised to see no 348's on track - given the amount of owners on here - and you don't have to worry about value

The 458 Speciale was gorgeous - loved the engine bay

I used to take mine but no one wanted to get in it !

Not sure the 348 is really 'supercar' status, especially compared to the other newer cars there.
