The one that has been sitting at Macaris for the last month is 201810.

So why did he keep saying to everyone that his was the first?

Anyway at least its cleared one thing up with Ferrari - if you ever get given a special car like an Aperta, feel free to flip it straight on as Ferrari will still happily give you their next supercar

I was speaking to somebody about this today (with somebody heavily involved with the LaFerrari's within a dealer)..... And it transpires that this dealer alone has taken delivery of 4 LaFerrari's & in fact Chris's was the 1st.

Lol - last year the marshals made a lad get in mine because it was the 'next car' - I thought he was going to cry, especially when the Lambo he wanted to go in overtook us after about 30 seconds !

Looks like there were some lovely cars there this year.

Surpisingly less CS members there this year and equally surprising a significant number of tipos not present, no 328, 348, 550, 575, 512TR/M, 16M, F40, F50, Enzo, 288GTO......guess they're all too valuable

I saw one a week ago at Deer Hut Classic car show but it was the Joe Macari car - which i believe is a non UK car?

as for 348's - if Mondials were taking paying passengers round - 348's would have been fine. I took my 348 a few years back - and it's certainly a great place to learn about how they drive at high speed and you're contributing to a great cause. OK, they are going to be slower than the modern day Ferrari's but they were still a Supercar in their day

TBH, i think the biggest issue facing the organisers going forward - is getting the drivers to the event.

I meant your statement was rubbish! They are just as much a supercar as any other Ferrari.

Ditto to the above. This event is always one of the highlights of the year, big thanks to all involved.

The cherry on the cake had to be my good friend Ruebdo spinning his RS at Gambon whilst trying to catch me. This, I promise, he will never be allowed to forget!

(I must add that Ruperts talent faded later on Sunday when the public had gone home. We were of course driving far more sensibly during the day! )

Hmm, not in the eyes of a lot of young lads and not compared to the majority of cars at this event. It's a little disheartening when people refuse to go in your car because its not 'super' enough.

Not sure the 348 is really 'supercar' status, especially compared to the other newer cars there.
    Andy

i'm sure your 348 would have been more than welcome and whilst it's probably 20 years old it is still a supercar, certainly much more so than many of the other cars there.....Fiat 500 anybody
