Default Anyone on here own a Testarossa?

I am about to fill in theimport pack from DVLA so as to register my '88 Testarossa. Basically I need all the printed information from a Testarossa's V5, so the weights, dimensions, co2's, body info etc etc...... Anybody on here able to help with this?

    Thanks in advance

Relating to the info that you want, my V5 has nothing that you require except body type, and that says Coupe

Presumably you've already gone through the NOVA process with HMRC in Dover and that you have evidence of the vendor having paid VAT on the car when he imported it? If not, you'll have a whole heap of fun registering it and be aware of fines for not informing HMRC that you've brought it in....and then there's the DVLA to deal with...

The details they want are on the Certificate of Conformity issued by the manufacturer for the car, but I am not sure whether the Testarossa predates the CC era.

Hi guys, here are the items on the list I am yet to cover.

DVLA state that if I can cover these, then there is no need for a coc.

    - Tax Class
    - Type approval number
    - Type (not body type)
    - Variant
    - Version
    - Dimensions & Wheelplan
    - HC (g/km or g/kwh)
    - Unladen weight
    - Power (kw)
    - Track width
    - Revenue weight
    - Euro status directive number
    - Co2
    - Mass in service
    - Particulates (PM)
    - Co (g/km or g/kwh)
    - HC & NOx
    - Sound level (dba)
    - Engine speed sound level
    - Drive by sound level (dba)
    - Power/Weight ratio

    That's (all) that's left :-)

Just to add....... I was at a dealer this morning & a lot of this stuff wouldn't even be included in the uk coc anyway, so pretty stumped hence why asking for someone with a Testarossa. A lot of the figures (all) will be generic for the car

Just to clarify...'Type Approval' is another name for 'Certificate of Conformity' but the notes for the 55C you have in your pack should tell you this...have you read them?

As with a lot of info on the sheet, it's all very grey! A lot of items simply state "obtainable from the CoC", which is why DVLA state that if I can the info, I will not need a CoC.

The Ferrari dealer also stated that a lot of this info will not be on the CoC. Funnily enough in my history of the car I have the European CoC (not in English), will this suffice? Surely it's the same thing? Telling an authority that the car meets European standards?! No?! Should I send this copy? This has none of the above required info!!! As Ferrari suggested it wouldn't.
