Thumbs up 360 purchased 3 months ago…… 3 month ownership review...

So, first time ferrari owner… bought a 360 F1 TDF from Dick Lovett 23K miles.

There has been a couple things that went wrong with it so far..

    - F1 pump gave up on me in the middle of traffic! Stuck in N outside Palms Casino not a good look! - FIXED
    - Alarm Siren issues (battery acid leak or something like that) easy temp fix was to remove siren but will replace soon
    - Passenger window - would drop 1 inch randomly - FIXED
    - Faulty Fuel gauge - FIXED

First thing I did was take the car on track… Im glad I did because this car is not one to mess with! having owned GTR, Panny Turbo, 911s I have to admit the 360 is nothing like it. Iv only done about 10 track days in my life so no way a pro on the circuit. I did spin twice that day! . but it was wet all day. I went again a couple weeks after (wet again!) and again spun out twice.

Read soo many reviews and youtube vids before buying the car and must say this is the only car that scares me, you will not
see me doing anything 'silly' in it on a public road.

The car is just accurate, controlled, balanced and the engine is soooooooooo sweet and happy to rev; but when is gives up, it doesn't give you much warning and just spits you off track? what do you guys think? was i just unlucky with the weather on both track days?

I do want to go out in it again during a nice dry conditions. Is that car much different in the dry? Im interested to know what you guys think about how the car and how behaves at the limit?

Have to say I do really like the car, its fun, loud, in good condition and very good looking. I think its a keeper!

The only mods I have done are:
    - Sports exhaust (I have the original)
    - Shields
    - rear lights lens (clear outer indicators)
    - Private number plate F1 TDF
The rest of car is stock as it left the show room and all of the above is reversible very easily.

    Here are some pics:

    Welcome to Ferrari ownership,

Lovely colour combo, very nice car. The TDF blue is one of my favorite Ferrari colours, the cream interior sets it off nicely.

    cheers guys,

Being new to ferrari I was looking at Reds and Blacks and wanted a manual. After seeing 4 cars there were things that bothered me like:

4-6 stamps in the service book claiming FSH
Dents in the door shuts (seat belt trapped in door when closing door).
soft feel coating on the buttons and door handles peeling badly
    rattles in interior
    etc etc

I wanted to pay around £40K then realised it will not happen. Spoke to Aldous Voice who help me out alot with what things to look out for etc.

Very happy with it cut wait for the weather to pick up so can come to events and meets.

Kas 750 - no i didn't buy a GT3 i wish i did and i could have very easily made 10K on even if I did a quick cash sale to a dealer!

but the one I did go see was accident damaged and the seller hit me with a lot of lies. Plus my wife hated the car. I ended up with a panny turbo which lasted 7 months before i got bored

    Love the colour !

I always think that the centre console in a 360 could do with a carbon dip. The silver grates on me every time I see one. The finish when they are dipped looks fantastic.
A proper car has a V12 engine in the front

    Hi,

For some reason I can't see the pics but love TDF.

I've never had mine on a track but driven a driving school one and the instructor took me past where I'd have taken it alone and it was still planted in the dry.

On the road my car felt wrong on 19" 430 wheels but feels absolutely brilliant on the 18" CH wheels with new rubber.
I had the geometry checked last year also and the rear right toe was quite a bit out. I was surprised the improvement that made to the feel of the car.

If not already, I'd check the age of your tyres and have a geometry check.
Failing that maybe slow down a bit!

Lovely car but as a 360 TDF owner I would say that. Didn't want red for my 2nd V8 Fezza and TDF really stood out for me.
