Go and drive a newish Boxster S with a sports exhaust. You'll be gobsmacked!

If had two Boxters, a 2.9 987 and a 3.4 981 with sports exhaust. Both good cars but the 981S was great.

Pound for pound two of the best cars on the road. We've had our 986S for seven years now and it's utterly brilliant, asking for so little but giving so much

I've had 8 Boxsters and 3 Caymans in various guises - base, S, GTS, R etc. Currently have a 981 S Boxster and a Cayman GT4 due to arrive in a couple of weeks. They are fantastic cars and nothing else comes close IMHO for the money. They are incredibly practical as well with a large front boot and decent sized rear boot so they are great for touring holidays. Running costs are very reasonable with two year service intervals.

Buy one now, before they're ruined by turbos and 4 cylinders...

Most Porsches are - sadly they're just not "special"

The Cayman R most certainly is special and is one of the best cars I've owned. In my experience the tend to be so good at what they do that they blend into your life see lesson and it's only when you sell one and replace it with another marque that you realise just how good they are which ends up costing money as you buy another 😄
