Funnily enough I've just looked at my bills in 97/98 and sure enough by the time almost every panel had had some new metal and the seats had been through Connolly and I'd found new speakers in Halford's end-of-line discount box for a pound the grand total including wheel refurbishing was about twelve grand !

Speakers for a quid - great. There's a nice phrase in French - "There is no such thing as a small saving"!

Yes, tbf the prep work he did on my 328 was amazing and when I picked it up it looked a million dollars (also helped by DaveZ's attention.

Unfortunately some of the paintwork started to go pink after just a few days and although these parts were repainted the whole car did the same after about 12 Months. My car was painted over a cold winter period and I suspect this caused the problem. Al did offer to paint another car for me free of charge however I've not taken him up on the offer.

I had my 599 resprayed last Year by Everyway solutions in Southampton. Tim Denney's the main guy there and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The guy who does the painting learned his trade at the Classic car specialist at Bealieu

Anybody used Mitchell Motors? I'm looking for somewhere local(ish) to re-do the mirrors (stone chipped) and door louvres (seems to have been missed by the paint gun) on my 348.

    Thoughts appreciated.

I have previously used 'Rivera Autobody' for Porsche work.

Ty offer a great service at realistic prices, links below, no affiliation other than a happy customer.
