One point brought up here ... we have large big box stores that are like super hardware stores ... do you guys in UK still call them ironmongers? Any way, Lowes and Home Depot are two big stores. The key duplicating machines they have are fully automated and because the original key and the key blank for Ferrari is not part of their data base, they will not attempt duplicating the keys. One has to go to a locksmith or smaller hardware store with the "tried and true" style key duplicating machine.

If you all in the UK were to get together for a group purchase, I could give a good discount and by combining all the keys into a single package could save on shipping as well. Drop me a PM if you have more than three keys you would like to group and I can work up a good discount for the group.

Might be interested. Currently a UK seller has them at 149 on eBay

    Are F430 keys the same?

Hi MalcH ... the key on eBay is the same key you can get on AliExpress for $23. Here is link ...

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/2016...04.4.87.BaXpUv

Another seller on eBay has samekey for 19 ...

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Replac...sAAOSwx2dYF~eX

That key is designed with a hollow shell for inserting your existing electronics for locking and unlocking the car. There are 3 buttons on the back for activating the remote entry / locking. If you are able to port the electronics over successfully, that key should work fine on the F430. In fact, though, I believe the F430 only has one button. Without the electronics, it will work on Ferrari's made from 1989 to 2005.

The quality of that key is not nearly the same as the keys I am selling. Hollow shells and subject to chips and breaking. Also, IMO, that eBay seller with the 149 key is scamming. Obvious lame attempt at trying to make the box appear as genuine Ferrari merchandise is very misleading.

If you are thinking of purchasing the eBay key, I would recommend you acquire it from AliExpress or the 19 eBay key. They are all the same and made in Asia.. If you purchase the key from me, you will not be disappointed. My keys are made in USA, key head is 100% solid acrylic resin. No chipping, breaking, or paint to wear away. The shipping is free to you and if it does not meet your expectations, send it back uncut and I will refund your purchase.

    Kind regards,

    Steve
