Default F430 rear bumper (for challenge look modification)

    Hi all,

I'm planning to fit a challenge rear grille so require a standard rear bumper which I'll have modified.... read as, cut down!

I've had my eye on eBay for a while but it appears everything offered is damaged. Scratches and chips to the surface is acceptable, but cracks and damage to the mounts is not.

In the unlikely event that anyone has a genuine "challenge look" option bumper available, obviously I will consider this too!

    Thanks,

    Ralph.

Ps. Also require the challenge grille (Coupe version); must be as new condition.

+1 Ralph but I'm happy to use my bumper and buy the challenge CF top part, need a bodyshop that is familiar with this job?

A competent bodyshop will be able to modify your existing bumper, that is not in dispute.

Personally I would rather acquire a second bumper and keep the original exactly that. I was hopeful the community would have some supply of standard F430 rear bumpers but apparently not!

For any one else who is looking... this has been on eBay for months:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-GENU...MAAOSwKBFakeXB

Price has dropped from around 700, to 595 and now 550. Offer a lot less than that though...

This for me is overly damaged, so I haven't even offered. It has suffered a serious knock to the NSR and has damaged the mounts. A repair could be out by a few mm and result in panel gap problems. If it is worth a shot for someone else, go for it!

    Here you go http://prospray.co.uk

    Owner is Andrew Lennie.

They made a scriber block to get the correct cut line and the work was immaculate and better than the factory examples I have seen.

Bringing this back to the top in case an excellent condition but unwanted F430 bumper is out there....

    In order of preference:

    1. F430 rear bumper for carbon rear grille
    2. F430 rear bumper for standard grille, which I will then cut down.

To compliment, I also require a carbon rear grille for a coupe, OEM part no. 80869800. New price is circa £2.5k so a second hand part would need to be materially less than this.

I have seen and am rather tempted by Sforza's carbon rear connector Has anyone purchased any carbon products from them?

Lastly, I mentioned back in May there was a damaged "carbon grille" bumper on eBay, which is still available...

    Dear Ralph,
We are new Sponsor on ClubScuderia,
We have manufactured many Carbon fiber rear Connector Grill for both F430 Coupe/Scuderia and Spider/16M models lately.
Right now we are manufacturing the first F430 rear bumper for the carbon connector and we are going to install it next week on a F430 coupŤ.
We do not reccomend to cut down your original bumper since the internal fixing points positions are slightly different and the carbon connector may not fit properly.
I'll post pictures of the rear bumper soon.
If you need further info do not hesitate to Pm me

Default f430 rear bumper challenge look with carbon moulding

    Dear Members,

As announced before, we have completed the F430 rear bumper for "Challenge" look modification, we have installed it on a base F430 CoupŤ along our Carbon rear Moulding connector and both fit perfectly!

The Rear bumper is made of Fiberglass and carbon fibre prepreg autoclave molded and it is complete of all the internal fixing points as the original one.
The one you see in pictures below is for parking sensors EU models ( cod. 83111910) , but we can make it also for models without parking sensors. ( cod. 83111810).
For this first piece we have manufactured the Tailpipe Surrounds LH RH as well (cod. 68164700 -68164800), but these are optional at Customers choice since the original ones from the existent bumper can fit.
About painting the rear bumper is normally delivered not painted ( like in pictures), but we can eventually offer painting service on request in the following original pastel colours only : "Red Corsa", "Red Scuderia", " Yellow Modena".

The Carbon rear Moulding Connector is made of Carbon fibre prepreg autoclave molded, the carbon fabric used is the same of Ferrari factory, 3k 200gr plain. Finish is clearcote glossy , same Ferrari factory. We have manufactured it for both CoupŤ /Scuderia ( cod. 80869800) and Spider /16m models.(cod. 81624500)

For install we reccomend to refer to qualified Body Shops / Services with experience in Ferrari parts assembly.
If you need further informations you can reply to this thread or send a PM for quotations.

    Best Regards
    NicolÚ C.
