Forgot to add Williams museum depending on date etc, although not sure how interested the girls would be!

Personally I'm more interested in the driving element of a weekend gathering - A drive, lunch, another drive, then hotel - exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding areas by Ferrari with lots of other Ferraris .

Don't want to spend the bulk of the day doing a visit to an attraction (as nice as all the places Adrian has listed ) which I can do another time.

Just my opinion, no offence intended and proceed to arrange a visit if that's the consensus (but keep it short or tie in with lunch please)

Iíve scanned a few hotels and this might be the difficult bit....
Many seem pretty full already but Iíll keep looking.

    M

PS Iím ok to drive and stop provided the stops are brief and the driving isnít too much.
Last weekend was a perfect balance

A suggestion of some alternatives places to have the hotel if nothing can be found -

Bath or Mendip area (I've heard cheddar gorge is a nice drive) or Malverns / Wye Valley area?

No offence at all. just suggestions. Stick them on the table, stir them around and pick what people want to do. Takes far far more than that to offend me. And no that's not a challenge

Hotels this way, Castle Coombe Manor hotel is nice, down in the quaint village. Whatley Manor is nice, but by no means cheap.

Having been unable to resist the fine weather to go for a drive today; I'd suggest we consider organising an early morning or late evening run, just to increase our chances of a clear ish road! E.g. A417/A436 "lap" The roads here are certainly not as empty as the lovely welsh roads we had the other weekend!

Whilst I'm sure the traffic was slightly more than usual today, the number of a) drive fing everywhere at 40mph club, b) I drive a 4*4 and have just retaken my complementary 4*4 "how to drive like a complete *ick head" course, c) cyclists etc etc. was somewhat annoying!

No diesel Minis today , but one Alfa Giulietta who though he could keep up, when he realised the national speed limit on a single carriageway is 60mph after I'd had enough of his 40mph...
