    Default Northerners Xmas thing

Was thinking whether us Northerners should have a meet before Xmas. Not seen anyone recently because my wife makes me stay in Well who can blame her

Think of the Brighouse Cornmill. Something central between Manchester and Yorkshire.

Does anyone else have any suggestions. Dunt have to be food it can be just beer whatever.

Maybe we could include the Birmingham/Derby lot too? or even show the Southern dudes how?

There is a week before Xmas that I will be away down in the old smoke. Not sure what week as it depends on some kit being delivered.

15th December is my work do too.

Pointless expecting anyone from the south to join in

we did a meet just 2 weeks ago in Leeds & Manchester. Only support from north boys was Chris Heeley, Dave Todd & Samantha - most of us came from the south, even the so-called regulars couldn't drive 20 miles to meet tbh poor show

    good luck though

Julian, that is because you were doing things that I don`t do.

I.e. Casino`s, night clubs, and expensive hotels.I am not knocking you for doing it, don`t expect me to turn up for that sort of event, it simply is not my thing.

    Cheers.

    Ade.

Friday evening we went into Leeds - everyone did their own thing after a meal. We managed to secure the Crowne Plaza for 25 each (providing you shared), then the following day it was all about driving, just the cost of fuel (and depreciation ) Half of the group stayed for the saturday night, which was a good way to finish the weekend, but cost more. My point was, people like Samantha & some other guy in a 430 & Zymol Dave joined us just for the run on the Saturday and probably used no more than half a tank of fuel

tbh, just thought it was a piss poor turnout from the Northern guys who seem to have a lot to say on the forum (post count ) yet didn't want to drive their cars - and that's what I thought owning a Ferrari is all about

The best part of the weekend was Sweeni's little diversion up some mountain rock followed by the Cat & Fiddle

You mean you were all driving at illegal speeds on public roads endangering other people???
