Probably aided by Bruce in his lovely LT and the guy in the 720 that was wanting to race everyone ;)

The supercar driver club has gone through an interesting cycle of McLaren ownership with many members dipping their toes into the brand. The honeymoon is well an truly over now for UK owners though. Poor quality, poor customer service and deep depreciation is hammering the brand for many...

Shame because as a Brit I want them to do well...

We already know from other markets: motorcycles, bicycles, etc.

Resto-mod is their preference for ‘old school’ or ‘upcyled retro’ stuff these days. They want the traditional look but along with modernised engineering and equipment. As I have said before think Singer Porsche as the new normal for what ‘retro’ or classic motoring now is.

I find myself strangely drawn to the resto mod stuff. Would love a Williams singer and saw pics of a Jaguar mk11 that had been done with a new engine and dash etc which I thought would make a very cool daily drive.

As long as they don’t try and turn decent cars etc into electric vehicle...sacrilege!!!
