    Default Gearbox Specialists

    Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend a gearbox specialist to take a look at my 308 GTBi gearbox?

I'm currently having the engine rebuilt and the gearbox is a bit of an unknown quantity as the car was in bits when I bought it, so I'd like someone in the know to take a look at it and advise and/or carry out any work required to make it A1.

    Cheers

    Mike

Hi Mike, when I had issues with my 348 gearbox I dealt with Mark / Harvey at Carrs Ferrari who took care of it all, at what I would also consider a reasonable cost.

I know they also do alot of 308 work there.

Close to you I believe Kev/Vic at Migliore do quite a lot of gearbox work. Worth a call if you've not tried them already.

Theoretically, I shouldnít have thought so, but my first port of call was a highly-regarded gearbox specialist in classic car/racing circles, and they didnít want to touch it.

Thanks for the suggestions, Iíll have a word with them all.
