Giles I know what you mean - i had a cosmetic refresh on my Grigio alloy 360 and the only way to get a perfect match is to use a colour spectrometer i.e. the gadget that scans your paint and produced a bespoke mix that will match.
My painter tried all the standard shades from PPG, and Nexa but none of them matched the car.
I had both bumpers and the skirts done.

Paint update:
I’ve had it painted at Rahman & Son’s by Jav in Halesowen.
In summary it’s perfect and I’m over the moon with the results.
The longer story is that he did loads more than was in the quote to ensure the 360 looks amazing and he really did succeed in that! My engine bay was quite a horror story of many miles of use, now it’s looking super fresh, but as the exhausts liberally distribute that white dust around it probably won’t stay like that for long.
One job that I was really surprised at the quality of was the painting of the aluminium sections of the door casings. I’ve often seen these painted smooth silver which is not correct. They should be a slightly grainy grey silver finish and he’s done this absolutely spot on.
The only thing left for me to do is apply the Pininfarina badges to the sills, take it somewhere nice and get some photos to show the much improved condition.
In fact I can’t think of any more jobs to do, so it’s time to enjoy when we get the chance over the next few colder months.

One more photo showing my fab MOT guy who I’ve being going to for well over ten years now, I sometimes think the built up relationship and understanding over time with our MOT guy of choice is the same as my wife’s relationship with her hairdresser!

The suspension is very clean Giles. Mine took a lot of work to get it that colour.

Colour match looks spot on also, so add the painter to the above list. Or at least his colour matcher

It’s worth pointing out that Jav from Rahman & Sons in Halesowen not only did lots of extra stuff to ensure a super high quality job but he did that while still sticking to the original (and very reasonable) quote.
I really can’t over emphasise how good both his attitude was and his quality of work.
A perfect glass finish, genuinely flawless!
Suspension is pretty clean! Love it!
