    Default finally did it

I know that some of you have wondered if I ever would, but following a hospital scare ( well I hope its a scare and not a precursor) I bought myself a manual 360 spider in beautiful conditon . Now to use it or at least when I am allowed to drive again.

Meantime, there is mention in the owners handbook of an alarm / immobiliser code number. I have the red fob so no issues but I wonder what form this code number takes so I can look for it amongst the papers that came with the car

We look forward to seeing both you and it out and about

The code sheet looks like this but is not really much use as long as you have working fobs - other operators can now either clone existing fobs or extract the code so your having it is not critical

Sometimes Ferrari dealers can either look up or sell you the code but its accuracy depends on the board never having been changed

Congratulations and you know we need pictures

The red fob is now nothing more than a different coloured black one.
Itís a myth that it allows new fobs to be coded as to do that you need the PIN.
It also lets you start the car if the fob is lost or broken.
As above itís a 4 digit code on what looks like a bank PIN slip. Cloning is a solution but the rolling codes get out of sequence. Extracting it from the immobiliser can be done but it needs to be sent abroad.
360Trev can also code out the immobiliser from your ECUs
