Correct. So no mechanical work, just verifying chassis number and build dates tally up. All of ten minutes!

Just called The Service Center again as I saw they still have the car and dropped the price to £60k asking, which is now getting closer to a price I would be willing to pay for a LHD (which is my favoured option for a 550 over a RHD) with an imperfect history.
I also found out they have been following this car for the past 5 years and sold it once already a couple of years ago.
I might drive down there next Saturday and have a look at it.

One thing is sure, Ferrari prices have softened, especially so for cars that don’t have a perfect history.
