Richard - I saw your thread on Fchat...

Here is what is not being said - When a supplier has the part in stock, it's generally no issue. But, most part sources cannot stock all parts - too expensive to maintain the inventory. So, when they go to the factory to get an item, it can take an endless amount of time. If it's factory stock, no problem and it's just a few days.

However, often Ferrari has parts coming in and I can tell you they are rarely on time.

I'm not defending Eurospares - I've had good and not so good experience with them. I'm just explaining what they should have explained to you. Claudio was decent to deal with at one point but my last few times dealing with him was not so good at all.

^^^ it's communication. If I order something and I'm told it'll be 8 weeks or whatever, that's fine because then I know.

If I order something and hear nothing for ages, I'm starting to wonder what the hell is going on
