With more electric/hybrid needing more management of pace and tactics and less flat out racing I predict I'll rapidly lose interest. I hope to be wrong though.

Flat out racing though can make it a bit possessional if one car is just too powerful. Having to manage a bit can even things up and make for better racing (unless the best driver is in the best car where it becomes even more predictable)

I'm not sure that's really true. By far the better racing was back in the day with very little management or clever tech where overtaking wasn't primarily done either through strategy and in the pits or pushing the the DRS button.

Perhaps 'Rose coloured spectacles' a bit but F1 is nowhere near as exciting as it used to be. Adding more tech has never yet improved the racing and I'm not sure that's going to change now. We'll see though.
