550 airbag leather problem

The leather cover on the airbag us coming loose, is it possible to repair is it a whole new airbag fitting that's required

if its like my 355; similar vintage; it will be a case of taking the airbag unit out and reseating/adhesive the leather. nothing difficult

I need to deal with the leather shrinkage on the main dash above the airbag on my 550, no idea who could do it anywhere near me though

if you are replacing the leather on the airbag; it needs to be skived to the correct thickness. martrim can skive the leather, you just need to find a local trimmer; never easy!

How do you get the cover off, is there a trick to it

I used Neal Lucas in Surrey on my 550. Perfect finish

All sorted, taking unit out is easy, make sure no powerful battery for at least an hour, pickerings I bradford fitted new leather,
