I've been talking about buying a Bentley for years. The plan was a late Arnage, but upon speaking to a specialist I was advised they don't do so well in Scotland as they rust for fun.
I wanted a saloon, so that lead me to looking at the VW-era stuff. I wasn't keen on the first-gen Flying Spur as it felt too much like a big VW. However the second-gen is a lot nicer and more Bentley-like IMO, and what an engine the W12 is; massive amounts of torque everywhere.
It's a brilliant thing to smoke about in, and at 95 it's only doing 2,000rpm
