The SLR has always bothered me, love the looks and the engine. But for me, its not a true supercar because the boot was made to fit golfclubs! That sums it up really, its just an expensive Mercedes. If you look at it as a GT car it makes more sense but then compared to the 599 its expensive! That was the problem of cultures between Mclaren and Mercedes. Part of this can be seen by the fact that Mercedes forced Mclaren to use their braking technology essentially robbing them of any feel!

The rumoured drop top confirms all of the above, although I'm sure Paris Hilton will love it!
