Where is the boundary for you?
You can choose more than one category, but most do not overlap.
Enzo Ferrari years: cars created in his lifetime are best
After he died it got better
There is a model year that draws the line, eg, 355 to 360
It's all one big happy family; each era and model is good in it's own right
Where is the boundary for you?

The 328 is the last car made when Enzo was alive. That is the line for me.
I'm just surprised how ugly F-cars have become compared to their counterparts in history, here's just some examples;
550 vs 575 vs 599
355 vs 360 vs 430
456 vs 612
F40 vs F50 vs Enzo
All of the older model cars may be less technologically advanced but oh boy they looked IMHO much much nicer.
Incorrect.
Enzo died on August 14, 1988.
He witnessed the launch of the Ferrari F40 in 1987 and he also would have been aware of the 348 as it was under development for 5 years.

For me the boundry would be the 355. I recall a Ferarri test/race driver say that from the 360 onwards, they were designed more for poseurs and housewives than for driving.

It's good to see the honesty with some members here about this topic.
There must be more, then. Please voice your say and vote...

As for me I tend to have certain models drawing the line, as others have suggested.
I think the 575 is not an improvement in looks upon the 550, with the 599 being just different enough to be somewhat immune (I emphasize "somewhat") from 550 v 599 looks comparisons. I do like the 599's looks; it's very beautiful. But prefer the 550.
This may offend some (or many) but I think the F50 is about one of the ugliest Ferraris made. I cannot get past the front end of that car. The F40 is much cleaner and understated and not over-designed. I believe the F40 was made under Enzo's watch prior to death, so in that regard things didn't improve after he died.
I think some things have, but other areas obviously haven't. I think there will always exist a romanticism and taste for the past. What I really like is the Alfa Romeo 8C, a bit off-topic, but an example of a Ferrari-blooded new car that looks just fantastic.
I guess I like them all in their own right![]()
