348 Seat and Trim Removal

Finally decided to take the plunge and have my seats, console, door trims etc etc - basicly all the cream bits restored.

I know how to remove the door trims and I believe the seats are just 4 allen screws??? but was wondering how to take the central console out/handbrake and maybe the lower half of the dash - the cream bit. TBH If any of those bits are really complicated i will try and get them to do it in situ but if reasonable to remove Id like to take it out.

Point me in the direction of threads........ :-)

The centre console, start by removing the ashtray and move forward from there.The you will see the fasteners for the console.

The HB console IIRC is 4 screws, one is under the engine lid escuteon.I can't remeber if you need to remove the engine lid release cable or not, I seem to recall you will have too.

OK will have to investigate!!

I think I will be leaving the under dash cream bit where it is and just remove the centre console, maybe handbrake if it comes off easy and seats (of course). Ill have look and then I'm sure I will have more questions :-)
