    Default HVAC ...LED needs soldering...help

Anyone know anyone in the UK that can reattach the tiny broken wire as seen in the photo?

    Needs a specialist me thinks.

These components are not sub-miniature and relatively easy to resolder. A new LED with unbroken wires should only cost 50pence. Just transfer the green "condom" to the new LED and get anyone in the electronics trade to solder in the new LED (Is there anyone near you who fixes stereo equipment?)

Note that LEDs have polarity (and the leads need to be soldered in the correct positions)

If you get charged more than a few pounds for this, I would be very surprised.

    Cheers

P.S. Your LED is probably a red LED with a green condom (they had limited LED colours in the 90's). You can buy green LEDs these days, but they may be much brighter than the old red one, especially with a green condom on (and not really match the subdued lighting of the F355).

Agree, I just looked up my local TV repairer and he did a few things on my 348 HVAC system whilst I waited
