458 speciale prices

The prices of these cars just seem to be rising
Red cars sold at an average list of £250k are £350 k cars now
Has anyone had the guts to pay such a premium for the last great V8 !
Personally-I see this car going to £375k in Summer
Maybe a future £500k car
Seasoned buyers know it's a better and purer car than 488 and here's the best thing - it ain't going to lose £2k per month.
Opinions ?

interesting, quick survey, at what price would everyone become a buyer. im thinking £250k-£275k for a red RHD one or maybe thats just optimistic :-)

I'm a buyer in waiting £220-225k. If it never happens so be it, I'm relaxed.

Too hardcore for the road, too loud for most track days, can't insure it for track days, can't drive it otherwise value plummets...

Can't see myself indulging at any time soon.

I don't really get the worry over mileage/value - surely if you want it, you buy it and then drive it until the wheels fall off and b*gger the mileage?

I agree.

People are happy to lose a grand a month on daily drivers but want to make money on the cars they buy to enjoy.
With the Speciale selling above list it should make it easier to use....

I don't get this either - it's why my 'daily drivers' have always been fully depreciated German saloons and why I have never bought or leased a new car in my life. I just don't get borrowing money to put in depreciating assets.

Here in this city I am surrounded by bubble leased uber wagons and 4 X 4's and owners fretting over condition when it comes to sending them back. For this kind of Use they could just get taxis everywhere instead of the 'spend-to-pretend' lifestyle.
