That aerial will help with the walkies communicating with the boys miles at the back on the Welsh weekender

Got up this morning and it was a dry, very cold bluebird day.
I was on at bit of a mission this morning fixing Mrs M’s brakes then moved to my car....
I bled the clutch again and some more air came out.
Checked the gearbox level, refitted the bumper and undertray and then thought sod it....I’ll tax it (with 4 days to go in the month) and go out for a spin [emoji106]
First drive since October which is a long time for me. She still runs really sweetly, so very pleased indeed.
Refurbished exhaust runs cooler and quieter particularly at motorway speeds and no dust.
The gear changes are really crisp with the new trans mount so all in all... result!
Maybe I’ll see 50k on the odo this year.

I’ve had a few runs since finishing and all good.....
The new gearbox mount has definite made the drivetrain tighter and the clutch pick-up is at least as good as before.
The clutch wear index is sat at 4050 and the actuator leakage values are very low and the current clutch closed position has settled out almost exactly where is was before I started. I have an image of the numbers but it’s on my android tablet.
The refurbished exhaust silencer has made a huge difference to engine bay temps. You can almost touch the silencer after a run whereas before you couldn’t even get close to it.
No white dust and it’s quieter in the cabin also but more raspy from outside. The current silencer is very low miles and probably has little carbon inside it.
Just a sticky starter solenoid to sort now......
Next I will sort that slight actuator leak.
