    Titanium lug bolts now fitted.
I bought a 17mm allen socket and filed down the corners to ensure it didnít damage the Ti bolts as I have read can happen.
I know weight is not the reason to make the swap (itís the fact that Ti bolts donít corrode), but they really do feel very light indeed.

Halfords sell a moto cycle spindle key for £10 that does the job and is pre-rounded as many modern bikes use similar for their spindles.Name: 713D138E-A702-4600-AA54-5AD20193994C.jpg

I like your choice of 5-spoke wheels.

Yep, these are the wheels as delivered when new, like most of my car itís the factory build spec, however these starfish alloys are my favourite, I think the Challenge Stradale alloys also look great but take a while to clean and the option split rim alloy (in my opinion) makes the rim appear smaller because the spokes of the star doesnít extend all the way to the rim edge and in doing so gives an illusion of a smaller rim diameter. Also Iím loving my new shiny nuts (I know they are bolts but you lose the 1980ís style humour!)

Nope, this was the MacLoop on the way into Tywyn. The other drive I tried out was the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons, care of Mike for the route.......
    (I was in the Roma)

The Roma was very elegant with a superb interior, bumpy road mode was a bit squidgy, but in normal chassis mode it was ok and it was plenty loose at the rear in Race but it’s very hard to draw conclusions because it was fitted with winter tyres, not sure if fair conclusions can be made. One thing that was a serious problem for me was the capacitive buttons on the steering wheel, regularly an accidental touch would change the TFT screen view and it momentarily takes your focus off the drive, not ideal.
I covered 312 miles in it according to the paperwork from Ferrari but the infotainment system is so complex I’m not even sure that’s enough to get a feel for it. Strangely the cruise didn’t work and before I left the dealership a message came up saying there is a problem with the parking sensors so it was reminding me to look out for obstacles! I’m sure these are teething problems but it did surprise me.

This is the Welsh road that winds up over a hilly region towards the Cross Foxes on the A470, itís one of my favourite stretches of road, not technically challenging but a gloriously beautiful area, love it 🚗💨👍
