Our Modena returned mid twenties when we took it to Maranello, about 2400 miles in all. That was a mixture of A & B type roads, a little motorway and plenty of mountains. I must admit I was impressed and I'm pretty sure our California doesn't get anywhere near that!

Front left lower ball joint looks a little damp.
    Underside looks pretty good.
My Ti Alloy wheel bolts arenít corroded!
My MOT man said the emissions were clean as a whistle, in the interest of data and the appropriate SI units, there is a photo of the emissions (where is the geek face emoji?!)
    Plus the obligatory odo pic!

Great photo of M and buddy travelling in style, Connie confirms cuteness with a big arhhhh!
If you are ever passing by Stratford-Upon-Avon we are easy to find!

Car update, on the new gearbox the near side drive shaft seal has been leaking so a pair of seals are currently going on while itís in while the adaptive suspension fault gets diagnosed. So far the SD3(?) unit is saying rear damper valve but it had new dampers all round at 145k miles so could be a dirty connector, we will see. Also could be accelerometers but the stored faults on those cleared and didnít return, more investigation required.
    Cheers, Giles

Driveshaft seal leak is on the RHS which fortunately means only that drive shaft needs to be removed to replace the seal.

I have checked on my service history and it had 4 new dampers in 2017 at 145k miles just before I bought it so we are hoping that the connection clean up has done the trick, but only driving it will confirm that, we will see.

After waxing the exterior with some great stuff called Collinite 486S I then cleaned and vacuumed the interior. In chucking out the general guff you collect along the miles I found my French 2021 trip fuel receipts, Iíve done the math and it worked out at an average of 26.7mpg. The 360 Modena manual, the efficient supercar!

Next month will mark 3 years of ownership for me with the 360 and itís fair to say itís been an expensive one, Iíll post up my annual bills and jobs done in DecemberÖ.. new: cambelts, clutch, gearbox, etc., you get the idea!

    Hi Folks,
My 3rd year of ownership is up and the scores are in!

The exec summary of the years round up of ownership costs has resulted in an eye watering amount but Iíve done quite a bit.

    Current mileage: 172,618
Miles covered in the year: c.9,000
    Breakdowns: 0
    Longest journey: Toulouse
    Total 2021 Spend: £9,873

I have done a few big jobs and all in all Iím pretty pleased that the costs have been so reasonable.
Iíve had new: gearbox (low miles used), clutch, cam belts, cam cover gaskets and oil seals (surprisingly big job but made easier while the gearbox was being replaced) and a few more parts as per image.

Jobs which will be planned for next year will be a couple (at least) of ball joints, the rear roof section re-attached to the structure, sounds bad but an easy fix and other than that Iím hoping for just regular maintenanceÖ. again, time will tell (I recall saying this before, one of these days Iíll be right!

One mistake Iíve made after the MOT was to bring it into the garage to wax it in the relative warmth to make it a little easier on the hands in the biting coldÖ yes easier and straightforward to wax it but it has resulted in it staying in the garage as I canít bring myself to get it out again in the horrid weather after getting it so clean and waxed!
I will of course get it out and out it will stay!

Thatís all for now, other than to say Iíve bought a new (to me) Ferrari in resale red so will be looking forward to driving that too if I can prize the keys out of Connieís hands!
    Cheers, Giles
