Default Our Ferrari Maintenance Costs: 308GTB thru F50

I recently compiled all of the maintenance costs from the dozen or so Ferraris we have own over the past couple of decades. All captured:

F50 and F40 are actually pretty reasonable with the exception of the fuel cell replacement.

American F40’s had a Federal approved alternative fuel tank design - are these any cheaper or interchangeable?
I assume F50 also In US had different tanks also (due to regs)
PS great info though mirrors my ownership experiences.

V8 2.5k per year at least and lack of mileage related issues hit me when a bout in intensive care meant my car sat motionless.
V12 older era 456’s and 550 way more cost than the 599 but high mileage and regularity rallying gave big bills CCM’s at £7k Ball joints and flam blocs all around.

There are certainly cheaper as they never need to be changed. I haven't heard of anyone getting Ferrari to retrofit OEM US steel tanks to a Euro F40 but do believe GTO in the UK offers a steel tank conversion. I may consider it when mine is up for the next fuel cell replacement in 3 years.

Seems to be some ‘pattern’ tank makers.

Realistically any outfit that can do FIA / Aerospace level work could easily match the spec but I’ll bet a lot of the costs are the hours to do the swap.

On the F40, the labor is a major part of the cost on the fuel cell change. They are not easy to access.
