f430 ticking noise on cold start up

So I have this for the last few weeks, engine runs smooth as a baby once warm, any thoughts I know split headers can be one cause ?

I had a ticking noise on my 360, it was the butterfly valves which caused it, to change them was a big problem as they are not meant to be changed, all the screws are peened over so big job to sort and i was told it might not improve!! We ended up using a cable tie to hold the throttle open a cock hair which stopped it, trouble was that that affected the ECU.. you may have same problem...i sold the car instead of trying to fix
