Interesting, thanks for posting. I'm intrigued by these Icona models, as personally I don't see the point of them and it could be risky to try and push them on customers. There's a danger of becoming addicted to the profit margins they provide, like McLaren, and ending up making too many.

I can see why you'd buy a Lusso to get the Pista you really want for example (without getting into a discussion on this as a strategy), but I don't see why you'd feel like you had to buy a Monza - it's not like you can go higher/more expensive up the range from there.

If you owned a Pista, and had an 812 GTS coming, why would you want a Monza?

You buy the Monza to keep your place in line for the LaFerrari replacement.

Interesting article.

I did some consulting work for a luxury brand regarding the dealership experience it was mostly terrible - I am not surprised at your experiences as they are typical of any business that has more customers than supply of product or service.
