Good way to use surplus electricity . I had a little look at the company and it looks like BMW have put some money into it . Porsche have also financed something similar, so I guess we can expect to see carbon neutral vehicles sooner than expected, and they wont have batteries. Whole life environmental impact will be less.

Yep, it makes so much sense on so many levels and companies like BMW can now see that. It’s only in the last few months that it’s really become viable economically but (as I posted on here some time ago) they were always going to work it out eventually.
