Thanks Andy, I've already been watching some of those vids.

Quick question the car will have to be used around London is it ok to drive the F1 in Auto mote around traffic times or does that decrease the clutch life, apparently on the e-gear Lambos it's not recommended is it the same with the F1.

    thanks

Iíd suggest you never use auto mode, but particularly in heavy traffic when it will speed up clutch wear. F1s arenít at their best in stop start trafficÖ

Auto mode in the MY08 F1 is quite accomplished - I used mine once to evaluate it and I was left impressed. There isn't the complexity of conditional evaluation that we take for granted in modern autos, but as a purely mechanical means of automated manual changing, it is pretty damn good.

On my test drive i thought it was pretty good, I wouldn't use it all the time though as I prefer being in control via manual mode.

    Hi guys,

I've seen what looks a pretty good car at a Ferrari main dealer slightly higher in price but they're including a Ferrari power warranty with the car, IF it's anything like the Porsche OPC warrenty then the car will need to be prepared to a pretty high standard in order to have the warranty.

I have a couple of questions:

Shold I get an Indy PPI even if buying from an official dealer with power warranty
Does the warranty cover things like ball joints, F1 pump etc

Apart from service records, recalls and previous work done on the car should i be asking the dealer anything else?

    thanks

Watch the YouTuber JayEmm latest video on his 430 Scuderia, to get an idea of what dealers will/won't do in terms of prep. He had some issues which are now resolved, however I do wonder how easy it would be for a normal person to get the same issues resolved - i.e. without an online presence to tell the story to

Yep I've seen that, tbh after that vid going out you'd think the main dealers would become a bit more honest and actually do the work needed.
