348TS left hand door lock mechanism

The Ferrari LH Door Handle kit reference is 70000655. I don't I need the whole door handle kit at £634.32. Hills door lock pin is £49.00 - This is the bit that's broken. The Ferrari part is very flimsy but figure I may be able to fix it. Has anyone been successful in repairing this part - if so how?

For the price; easiest to just buy the hill part.

Ferrari item is made of junk materiel. I doubt any repair, if possible, would last... I would fit a Hills pin.
