    612 alarm failure troubleshooting

More than likely not this but how's the state of your battery? I know quite a few electrical faults like this on Ferraris from this era (and possibly newer but not sure) arise from the battery being sub-optimal and not supplying the required voltage. As an aside, apart from the electrics how do...

    Nice video about Classiche

You forgot to add that when you sell someone out there will pay a premium for all of the above having been done so in truth you only pay for part of the "con" :D I do get originality in the right car; I'd far prefer a 246 with a 2.4 liter V6 than one of the V8 modded ones out there - if I...

    Booster seats for Portofino

Hi there. I no longer need them as my boys have grown a smidge - 6'2'' and 6'6 so I'm now just the shortest, but when I needed one a few years ago for the odd trip round the block in the 348 I had something like this...

    Recoring OEM 430 Cats

Sounds promising. Must confess, when I wanted to update my cats on the 348 I just went for a straight swap and took the OEM out and put in 200 cell Nouvalari cats. Vast improvement in emissions over the old tech. They don't look quite the same but they're very much tucked away so it doesn't...

    456GTA M Pop-up Headlights Fail

All I can think of is a bad earth somewhere - too much of a coincidence for wipers to quit too. Do you have a workshop manual with wiring diagram in it?

    Replacement Floor Mats

😄 (Edit was just removing the link that muppet posted)

    New 488 owner

Could be wrong but I think that place is a reseller and don't actually make anything themselves. If I'm right it's actually made by these guys: https://classictravellingluggage.com/

    Giles’ 488 Scrapbook

Much better. Carbon is all well and good on the right type of car - generally looks fine on a 488 I think but I've seen it on 348s and older cars and I've never really liked that - but 'fake' carbon just looks like you're trying too hard. All imo and if others like Carbon wraps all fine, but if...

    Replacement Floor Mats

Hi all. Need to replace the floor mats in my 348 and am looking for any recommendations. Would prefer to buy from whoever is making the mat rather than a reseller if possible. I want the option of choosing colour etc and so far this looks like an ok bet...

    How do you store yours

I'm not sure that argument really holds water, Gordon. Idle is just an engine speed so in effect you'd be saying that before the oil is fully up to temp it's better for the parts in an engine to be moving quicker rather than slower. As far as not being good for an engine running while being...

How do you buy a Ferrari ?

While I agree with the sentiment I have to admit that having previously had a Nouvalari SuperSport on my 348 which is about as loud as they come (and you heard it I think, Simon) and used to occasionally set off the neighbour's car alarm just on start up, I've since changed it to far more...

F430 New owner diary inc. maintenance & upgrades

I'm just getting the tag with no image or link to it. If Gordon sees them all perhaps it's my settings.

F430 New owner diary inc. maintenance & upgrades

Hi Mark. Could be me but not seeing any of the images you've posted to the last 2 posts, just what look like links to them but with no hyperlink attached. I can see Mark's picture of his Cube in the post between your though. Could be just me or could be how you're inserting them. If you're using...

    How do you store yours

Hi Tom. I also wouldn't start it, run it for a few mins then turn it off again. If you're going to do it I'd run it long enough to get everything fully up to temperature. It takes at least 20 mins for the oil to get hot in my car and in the winter I run her for about 30 mins just to be sure...
