It's an old Ferrari so my educated guess is if it can be it will be :D
You mentioned Bell Sport and Classic - my car was actually there last year having an engine out belts change along with a bunch of miscellaneous work such as new fuel lines and radiator. Was very pleased with the work overall.
Firstly welcome to CS.
Secondly congrats on the new motor. The work you're doing looks great, will be following your progress with interest.
I've owned my 348 TS for about 14 years now so have got pretty familiar with the car over that time. There's a few threads of work she's had done on here...
I think I've seen a glass engine lid on a 458 Spider but couldn't tell you if it was Capristo, looked quite good though.
The upgrades sound good. I've never been a fan of carbon added to the older tipos, have always felt it looks a bit overdone or out of place, just my personal opinion, but on...
Crying shame if it is genuine.
Pretty sure this is another incorrect statement from the seller "Of the original 50 cars, 11 were sent to Michelotto for competition conversion, and a further 2 were modified into 348 LM variants—leaving only 37 examples in original road-legal specification."...
Not seen any in the metal but have known about them and seen pictures. Never really been a fan if I'm honest, just find it a bit overdone and fussy. Everything from the all the vents to the yellow and red scripts in the engine bay to the 'furry' interior - really can't say there's one bit which...
Hopefully someone who has had this job done on their 360 will answer but when I was disappointed in a specialist pain job on my 348 (targa roof stripped and repainted - plastic textured roof so not a straight forward job) I had it redone by Chartwell which is an approved Ferrari bodyshop. It was...
I'm definitely interested. A retrim massively lifts a car if it's done well IMO. My 348 is pretty nice all over but what really sets her apart from most others I've seen is the interior. I had a retrim done a few years ago, all the leather and carpets replaced and have kept it looking like new...
I think I'd be taking it up with the indie who did the major. I'm not sure how that could have happened if that wheel was properly torqued up. I know at the main dealer near me when the wheels go back on a different mechanic has to come over and check they are torqued up, have seen them do it...
Sounds like she's in good hands. Those ball joints are a bit of a worry, I know you use the car a lot and they are a known weakness on the 360 but 7k miles and 10 months is more than a tad less than you'd hope to get out of them. What do you think is causing it? The weather you're driving her in...
