Rally For Heroes 2012

Hello Everyone..

My name is Simon Warner and I am one of the Administrators and Event Marshals of the up and coming Rally For Heroes 2012.

We are trying to fill the last position on our entrants list with an AMAZING FERRARI.

At present we have cars ranging from Jags / Lotus / TVRS / Subarus / FOCUS ST and RS / Vauxhalls to name but a few.

We have 49 entrants at present and have one space left, we would love this to be filled by a Ferrari to top the crowd off.

Entrance is only £100.00
Charities are Royal British Legion And Help For Heroes, minimum raise £1000.00 per car.

Event 7 days
Countries :- 5 (England / France / Italy / Switzerland / Germany)
Distance:- 3000 miles round trip.

The cars can be corporate sponsored to raise your sponsorship, and graphicsed up accordingly.
NO-PERSONAL SPONSORSHIP ALLOWED, all funds to the charity.

Hotels / Ferries / Fuel and Food self funded.

We are taking on some of the most amazing roads in Europe during this 7 day trip.

The Help for Heroes Road Trip started in 2010 with the idea of taking in some of "The best driving roads in Europe" whilst raising money for a worthwhile charity.

The core of the event will be the same as the 2010 road trip, incorporating a drive/ride of a minimum 5 miles for each service person that has made the ultimate sacrifice serving their country in Afghanistan during the current conflict.

However, Rally for Heroes 2012 will have a few additions. The main one being that the first three days will be ran along the lines of a scatter run. All entrants will be given a location to reach by the end of the day. Each vehicle will then be set off at a separate interval, making their own way to the given location. En-route there will be various tasks all of which will be optional, but will award entrants with points accumulating to a daily leg winner and ultimately the coveted Rally for Heroes 2012 cup winner.

There will be a small entrance fee (non-refundable) per vehicle to cover the event costs with any remainder being placed directly into the Charity fund.

The intended route will see us take in some of the most famous tracks and driving routes around central Europe, these include:-

START Dunsfold Test Track (Top Gear Track)

- Le Mans

- Monaco

- Stelvio Pass

- Grossglockener Pass

- Hockenheim Circuit

- The Nurburgring

If anyone is interested in this amazing adventure and has a week to spare and wants to test out the joy of their Ferrari through Italy and Europe then space is limited and this final place may go very very soon.
