Spoken this morning. All the teams enjoyed the Firework display and the release of the Beaujolais Nouveau last night, must of been good Jules bought 5 boxes of the stuff...I bet that was interesting manouvering the boxes into the stradale:huh:
They've been exceptionally lucky with the weather hitting 15 degrees and not the rain we have endured in old blighty.
One of Jules hi-lights was a team that had difficulty with an E type breaking down, the german competitor realising the car wasn't going to make it, had a replacement at the hotel the next morning so he could carry on all from his own stable. :dude:
So the teams are heading back to Reims today for a black tie dinner and award ceremony, from conversations amongst the teams - Red Rush will certainly pick up the "best noise" award.
Look forward to hearing today how they all faired. Apparently it's not about the speed (yeah) it's about getting there the most direct, least miles...all sorts of calculations - so all to work for!
At the moment can see them in fourth on the map.
