Dino restorations

I can confirm that the Dino in the background is............ NOT my car  I don't think the owner is a member here.

A couple of pics taken outdoors. The sun was trying to break through the clouds at the time. The colour has a lot of metal flake in it so it changes enormously depending upon lighting conditions but it is the best colour I've seen on a Dino for showing off the shape of the car to it's full potential.

Perfect :thumbsup:how I regret not taking up the offer of a restoration five years ago , £110 k seemed an awful lot at the time , now worth double that .

You won't find a Dino that has been properly restored for £220k now Gary. Good ones will fetch far more than that :wink3:

My GTS was delivered back today and I'm delighted with it. There are a few details that I have to complete on it - ANSA exhaust stickers for example - but they are all minor. I'm really glad I chose Nocciola Metallizzato as it looks great in both dull conditions and bright sunlight where the flip in the paint really sparkles.

I decided not to over restore the car so the interior retains it's 40 year old patina in terms of the instrument guages, switches, ashtray, seatbelts etc. The new Connolly Vaumol leather has a great marbling to the surface that also makes it look like an incredibly well looked after original interior but that is hard to capture on camera.
