Hi Guys haven't been on here for years - got logged out but thanks to Francis Im back !

I have a Pista Spider and Coupe. The coupe has carbon wheels - if they were to get grazed or chipped can you mend ?
Also the spider has not been fully ppf'd _ stupid !! the rear carbon bits are chipped can they be repaired ?

Hello Bruce,
The carbon parts could be repaired adding from inside additional carbon layers. Of course if the chipping area is carbon sight you could see a small cracking after varnishing.
For a better evalutation you can send us DM/email with some pictures of the chipped parts.
About wheels you need to check out whether it is a structural damage or just grazed/ chipped. Wheels structural damage cannot be repaired.

Good rule of thumb for carbon - cosmetic damage can be repaired / Structural damage cannot without very sophisticated equipment and fine process control.

Most cosmetic Carbon has very thick clear coat for this purpose.
