Speaker housings.

Anyone here familiar with this type of speaker housing? They are covered with early 90s era creme leather. Were they a Ferrari option or an aftermarket item re trimmed to suit? Taken from a 348 and were mounted on the parcel shelf behind the seats. Fitted with Infinity Kappa 6x9 speakers. They weigh 2.5kg each and feel very solid and well built.. Any info welcome.

Happy to be wrong but would be surprised if they were an option ie factory fitted. Possibly dealer fitted?

Dealer fitted are my thoughts too Pete. I didnt think they came from the factory with complete fitted systems. Maybe door speakers if anything. Not sure.
