Cleaning cloth help

My father was a panel beater and sprayer and he always had boxes of white cloths that were used for t cut or wax on cars. I used to buy them and then they changed to a perforated roll and I think from DuPont. I have lost the details of where I got my last lot and only have one left in the garage and it's been well used with T Cut and Leather Polish but hopefully someone might know a bit about what it is and where I could get some more. They were just so useful in situations where Terry Cloth style cloths are too much to use.

Here's a few snaps and apologies for the grubbiness. As you can see they have a fine mesh and I am guessing could be lint free. Approx width of the roll was 12 inches.

Sort of looks like white gauze bandage, the sort you might get from a medical supplier. Take it not the same stuff?

No they came from an automotive supplier back in the 80’s and then I bought them in the 90’s onward from the mystery supplier. They were great for cleaning applying wax or similar and buffing off. I’ve sent for samples from one possible supplier. Watch this space.

I know that product precisely as we used to sell it. The supplier went out of business about 6-8 years ago.

The world has gone over to microfibre so I suspect they were early victims.
