Cheers for explaining Giles. It wasn't so much the price I was surprised about, given diagnostic time, parts, labour it seems reasonable. It was more that an engineer felt the need to to put sensors in a seatbelt buckle in order for the car to assess whether to put on the handbrake. It just seems that the more sensors they put in these machines the more potential there is for sensors to throw faults, especially as the years pass and the cars start to get older. Oh well, hopefully sorted now and doesn't come back.
