My Fuoco 458 Italia

I've recently bought this car, a 2012 model with 7.5k miles, and what an amazing thing it is. I think I'm most impressed at how it can cruise about in auto mode like a luxury GT, and then switch instantly to full mental mode when you want it to!

It was in great condition when I bought it although the paint was quite badly swirled (poor washing technique no doubt), a shame with such lovely paint. I've machine polished the car myself and am delighted with the results. Rosso Fuoco is an amazing colour in reality, although quite hard to photograph well.

I know this won't be to everybody's taste, but I like it: I never really liked the diamond cut wheels (not specced by me) so had them refinished in a dark grey/anthracite colour. I also had the sills wrapped similar to the factory "sports sills" option (which I think nicely "narrows" the side profile). Very happy with the results which I think suits the Fuoco paint very well:

Well, you got me thinking about titanium, so as the finishing touches for the wheels I splashed out and bought some titanium wheel bolts (from Hill Engineering, fantastic quality) and some titanium centre caps (the originals were getting tatty anyway).

I was very unsure about doing the centre caps as well, but like the results (I think!). The theory is that the yellow callipers balance the shields already, so yellow centre caps as well was overkill. Interested to hear other people's opinions though :)
