an interesting subject and undoubtedly a loose loose one as you say. that said for high end it might not be too big an issue, but “middle class aspirational” like the majority of porsche suv stuff, i bet that will hurt.

i didnt read the fine print, but do the tarrifs cover parts for used cars; if so that could gave quite the effect on the market place?

i find it hilarious that he wants/ thinks he can get europeans to buy more american cars. there is a very good reason its never happened and never will..they are rubbish!

all the above said; we only have to hold our breath for 4 years!!!

If the parts are new, even if the car its going into aren't, they are covered by the tariffs

Not saying I agree with what he's doing, but the EU has had tarriffs on American cars for some time now so they're not exactly innocent in all this
