Buying a 360 Manual

I see the car is no longer advertised. :hmmm:

If that car had a together history I'd see that advertised at £70k ish. I'm not saying its worth that but seems what other Modena's are in and around, noting they all seem to be priced on the optimism of spring in the usual way! Its certainly not more than most 430s and v close to some manual 430s!

But with the story here I'd guess thats a £45k car maybe; if you could find a buyer!! Shame as its a very good looking car.

See this is listed to be sold on collecting cars

Will be following with interest!

So the blue engine swap car ended up selling for £62.5k

To me that feels pretty toppy for a “story” car, even more so given that it was up for sale at £90k with JZM Porsche beforehand. Still, love the spec of it!

I doubt the buyer has any idea about the full history as it wasn’t exactly volunteered information when people on here went looking.

Yes, it'll be interesting.
Advert is misleading, as I was informed that the car has had a previous front-end repair.

I think the word you are looking for is "dishonest" rather than "misleading". If those writing the advert didn't know, those giving them the information to write it certainly did.

That's high for a car with history, even that which was declared! Quick search and looking at those from well known independents, that is full on price for a decent car with no history!!! I hope the new owner really enjoys it; as that will bite if they ever try and move it on.

I called about this car today and the dealer (who seemed a decent guy) told me this is the car was owned by the man who owned the blue one from earlier in this thread and that this car too had a non matching engine. Unless that owner made a habit of doing this to multiple cars, that means this car and the blue one have swapped engines.

Afraid that was the end of my interest unless we can reunite the blue car with this one and get the engines swapped back!
